Newport Beach!

I totally forgot about this part of our fun trip! We ended our trip at Newport Beach. The kids had so much fun! The beach was so clean and the water wasn't crazy. Ben taught little Taylor how to ride the boogie board, she loved it! Aidan loved the sand, so much so, that he occasionaly threw himself down face first into it...also known as a temper tantrum :)! Too bad we didn't take any pictures of that because he had sand plastered to his hair and face.

It's time to try defying gravity...I think I will try defying gravity...

Ben and I were lucky enough to have the opportunity to go see the broadway play WICKED while we were there in California. Let me just tell you it was absolutely amazing! We loved it! We were told that they hold a lottery drawing before each show and you have a chance to win front row seats. So Ben and I went down 2 hours before the show even started and entered both our names into the lottery. I wish I could say that one of our names got drawn but it didn't. However the whole thing wasn't a waste because we got discounted tickets just for putting our names in. So we still got a good deal. After the drawing Ben and I walked down Hollywood Blvd and ate at a place called La Cantina. We loved looking at all the stars on the sidewalk. We had so much fun! Thanks again to Troy and Jenn for watching the boys for us!

DISNEYLAND!!!

So here's the story...Ben's family goes to Disneyland I swear at least twice a year and because Ben works so much we weren't able to go either time that his family went. So Ben and I decided we would go, just our little family, in September when he had a week off. Well we were talking to our friends the Tustians and they had been planning a trip to Southern California too. We both decided we would probably both benifit if we went together. It just so happened that Ben had this week in August off randomly and it was the same week our friend Jenn had off from school too! It seriously couldn't have worked out any better. We all had so much fun. It was the Tustian girls first time going to Disneyland and of course they LOVED the princesses. I am pretty sure we met everyone of them too. In fact Taylor got to meet Ariel twice. Aidan enjoyed every ride he was able to go on. All the kids loved the parades and that was probably one of their favorite things. Thank you Troy and Jenn for the wonderful vacation, we had an absolute blast!

Us in Vegas...

Like I mentioned before we spent a few days in Vegas before heading down to Southern California so here are a couple of pictures.

Little "Ethie" isn't so little anymore!

I said Ethie because that is how Aidan says his name. I have been told though that Ethan is getting bigger everyday. Roxanne just came over the other day and these were her exact words..."Oh my chubbiness!" I love it! He seriously is getting so big. I can't believe he is almost 3 months old already.

RENO is the Best!

Some pictures from our two week trip...

Crazy Busy!

Who's life isn't right?! Seriously having two boys isn't all that easy but I love every minute of it. Ben is on a government job and so it requires him to be out of town for 10 weeks. He gets to come home Thursday nights but leaves again on Sunday nights. We really miss him when he is gone especially me because that means I am completely on my own which can be very overwhelming. While Ben is out of town I try to stay busy because that is the only way I know how to make time go by faster. So I went to Reno for 2 weeks which was a really nice break. Came home for a week only to leave the following Thursday to Vegas for a few days and then on to California with our friends the Tustians. We went to Disneyland and Ben and I saw WICKED which was absolutely amazing! Ben does get some time off in between his 10 week job luckily. We take what we can get.
