So a couple of weeks ago Aidan and I went to the park for playgroup and no one was there! It was ironic because last time we had playgroup at this park no one was there. It's kind of funny to me because this park is by far my favorite out of all the ones we have gone to. It's the cleanest and newest of them all. Aidan loved it though because he had the whole park to himself. I loved it because when I wanted to go Aidan didn't put up a fuss because he wanted to stay and play with the other kids.

Gardner Village
For the last three years it has been a Flynn/Anderson tradition to go to Gardner Village and see all the witches. We have so much fun every year and this year we learned that we need to go earlier in the month because it was super crowded because of all the events they had going on that weekend. We really enjoyed all the fun shops and Aidan even got to see an owl which he loved to say "hoo" to. It was an absolute blast and we look forward to many more Octobers at Gardner Village with our friends Rich and Amanda!

Farnsworth Farm
Last Friday for our FALL activity we went to a place called Farnsworth Farm. They were showing Charlie Brown's The Great Pumpkin outside. They had a free hayride that went around their pumpkin patch and tree orchard. We also got some free apple cider and some donuts. It was a lot of fun for the kids. Aidan kept saying "movie" because he wanted to stay and watch Charlie Brown.

Ethan is 4 months old!
I know I say this a lot but time really does fly for me. He is growing up so much quicker then Aidan ever seemed to be at this age. He saw the doctor yesterday and here are his stats:
Weight: 15.5 lbs.--62.6%
Length: 25.5 in.--72%
Head Cir: 16.4 in.--32%

BYU vs. New Mexico, 21-3
Saturdays game is not really worth talking about. We did not play well at all and it was quite disappointing but we did win and I should be grateful for at least that. It was really cold. They said it was going to rain and snow but fortunately for us it did not. We found great babysitters for the boys just because we knew it was going to be really cold! A big thanks to Deven and Shelley who watched the boys for us. Aidan just adores Shelley. Thanks guys for a fun night out to dinner too!

Crazy Corn Maze...

Halloween is one of my absolute favorite holidays! Before we had the boys Ben and I would go to all the haunted houses. Now we go to things that are more kid appropriate. I love doing things like this because it makes me so excited for fall and for Halloween. During this corn maze we were given a trivia sheet about corn. Out of 10 questions we only missed one, so we didn't get our prize! Oh well, we still had lots of fun! Here are a few pictures of us after we made it through the corn maze...

The Best Behaved...
I have to agree with my sister in law Britney...I love my sleeping children sometimes more than the awake ones. They are on their best behavior when they are sleeping! In all honesty it's hard trying to hold a baby in one arm and a diaper bag and purse in the other and trying to chase your toddler around. Yesterday I went to Carls Jr. to get something to eat and let Aidan play around in their playground. When it came time to go...I am sure what people saw was quite the site to see. Here is a mother carrying a baby in his carseat in one arm, a purse in the other, two drinks, Aidan's leftovers, and Aidan. I will say that Aidan has been really good as of late. We went through a really rough patch there for awhile where Aidan would throw himself on the ground and scream if he didn't get what he wanted and it didn't matter if there was carpet or cement below him. At first I did do a lot of yelling and spanking which didn't seem to do anything. After much prayer (because I was on the verge of a nervous break down) I have found a new way to deal with these "terrible two's". I started putting him in time out even if he started to throw a temper tantrum and I would just give him lots of love those times he seems to just be having a bad day. Because my Heavenly Father is aware of me and my needs He has really blessed me, and Aidan has not thrown himself on the ground anymore. He is really trying to communicate with us using his words and has really started to listen to his parents when he is asked to do something. All in all, Aidan is a wonderful little boy who I love more and more everyday. Ethan is such a great baby and I am grateful to my father in heaven for always blessing me with so much and who continually answers my prayers.

I just love them! Aidan has been so cute with Ethan and very protective of him. He's really learning to be a good big brother!
