Happy Thanksgiving!!

I love the holidays. I appreciate the times I am able to go home for them so much more now that I am married. Ever since Ben and I got married we switch families for the holidays. So the first year we spent Thanksgiving with my family and Christmas with the Andersons. Last year was switched but we did not get to go to Reno for Christmas because of when I was due with Aidan. So I was especially grateful to be able to spend Thanksgiving in Reno this year. Ben was able to get a whole week off of work. We left Friday the 16th and came back yesterday. It was a very fun filled week. Everybody in my family was able to come home except for Robbie, whom we missed dearly, but is still on his mission in New York. Ben helped out my dad on a lot of projects that week which I know my dad appreciated very much. He also played ball with the boys, which is where he received his black eye, and they also played some turkey bowl on Thursday. I enjoyed the nice little break from being a mom because my family can't get enough of Aidan to go around. We watched BYU play #6 ranked Louisville in basketball and beat them on Friday night. Let's not forget the BIG GAME on Saturday, BYU vs. UTAH. What a wonderful game that was to watch! Just to end the sports, we watched BYU barely loose to #1 ranked North Carolina in basketball Saturday night. Thanksgiving is always such a joy to me and I am grateful for family more than anything at this time of year.

Baby #2!!!

So some of you already know but Ben and I found out in October that I am pregnant with our second child! For those of you who are trying to count how many months apart they'll be...they will be just one week short of 18 months. We are both very excited and I am just a little nervous but I know this is the way is was supposed to be. I will always be grateful to my father in heaven for allowing me to be a mom to such a beautiful boy.

BYU vs. TCU

We have been fortunate enough to make it to three of the six home games. It's been a lot of fun to continue going to the BYU football games! Aidan enjoys it very much which helps.

Aidan and the little old man!

Ben and I have discovered a little old man that lives inside of Aidan. We find it quite amusing.

Happy 26th Birthday Ben!

Ben turned 26 on November 2. He wanted to go to the Mayan for his birthday, so that's where we went. It was quite the "adventure"!

Aidans cheesy smiles!

Aidan has six teeth now and I swear that ever since they came in he likes to smile really cheesy to show them off...so here are a few!

Happy Halloween!!!

This year was Aidan's first Halloween, so of course I had to dress him up and take him trick or treating. He actually got to go three different times (I think that might be a record for a ten month old). On Tuesday he went to Ben's office in SLC and got to trick or treat on two floors. Later that night, we went to our friend Amanda's trunk or treat. Aidan did his final trick or treating the next night on Halloween. We met up with Paula and Adam and their little girl Emma. They were so cute trick or treating together. All in all it was an eventful Halloween for Aidan!

Gardner Village!

On Saturday Ben, Aidan and I met up with our friends Rich and Amanda at a place called Gardner Village. It's become a little tradition of ours to go in the month of October. We walk around and look at all the different witches and little shops along the way. Its quite fun. I really enjoy looking at all the furniture, home decor and all the cute little holiday decorations. Sometimes I think, "I would love that couch or those plates or that entertainment center,"....some day.

Ben's Antelope Hunt

Ben drew out one tag this fall which was an antelope. So yesterday he and his dad drove out to Wyoming to get it. As some of you know the weather was horrible here in SLC. So when they got to Wyoming everything was really muddy because the wet weather had already passed through there. Ben's dad, Belmont, had put chains on the tires to help get through the rough terrain. Some how one of the chains broke off and snapped the brake line in the process leaking all the brake fluid. So they had to drive about 15 miles without brakes to get to where the tow truck could pick them up. I am just really glad that nothing too serious happened to them. Luckily Grandpa Anderson came to their rescue and picked them up in Wyoming and they all returned home safely last night with their antelope. Regardless of all the troubles, Ben had a lot of fun going out hunting with his dad.

Fall has come!

Roxanne and I went up to Logan yesterday to visit our sister Holly who is attending Utah State. On the way there I was just in awe of how pretty the canyon was! It was full with trees of all different colors. We wanted to take pictures with all three of us but Holly had class and Roxanne had to get back to Provo. Holly we missed you!

The Jungle Book!

I am so excited! The Jungle Book comes out on DVD tomorrow! I am a huge fan when it comes to the Disney classics. I am only missing a few from my collection. I think those are: Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmations, Pinocchio, and of course The Jungle Book. So I am excited to be able to add this to my collection. You can go here for a list of upcoming Disney movies.

Aidan is nine months old!

I can not believe how fast time flies. Aidan is growing up so fast. He crawls everywhere, babbles all the time, he shakes his head no when you tell him no, and he cruises along the furniture. I bought him his first pair of shoes. I was so excited! They are Pumas and are seriously the cutest thing. I figured since winter is coming and he's starting to learn how to walk, it would be time to make that purchase. He had his nine month check up yesterday and luckily he didn't have to get any shots. He did have to get pricked in the toe though to check for iron deficiency. He weighs 17 lbs 9oz and measures at 28.7 inches long. He is in the 7th percentile for his weight and 62 percentile for his height! Do you think maybe he takes after his parents?! But the doctor says he is really healthy and growing just fine. We just love Aidan and he has been such a joy in our lives!

Aidan and his daddy!

Ben has been gone the whole month of September to Seattle for work. Luckily he gets to come home on the weekends and Aidan gets so excited to see him! Ben loves to take care of him when he gets home.

Great Grandma and Grandpa Anderson

We are currently living with Ben's grandparents because we just haven't found ourselves a place to live yet. We have been so lucky to be able to live with them. They are the kindest, sweetest and funniest people you will ever meet! And they just adore Aidan and think he is the happiest baby they have ever seen. Aidan just adores them too. The other week when the US Open was going on and Grandpa was watching the tennis matches, Aidan would crawl into his lap and just sit there and watch the tv with him. It was so cute!
