The MINA!

I meant to post this a month ago because that's how long it's been. The "Mina" as Aidan calls it or binky as we all know it, is GONE! Yep we did it before he was even two. He never even threw a fit. I thought for sure this one would be a hard thing to tackle but he was really okay with it. He would have his "mina" typically when he went to bed or if he hurt himself or if he was throwing a fit at the store I could just give it to him to keep him content! I was not quite ready to get rid of it for that last reason because it was a saving grace for me a lot of times. The time had come though and we just did it cold turkey! Any time he asked for it, Ben and I would just tell him he didn't need it anymore because he was a big boy. He loves giving it to Ethan though when he hears him crying. He is learning to be a big brother!
