For my birthday this year my mom bought our family a Thanksgiving Point membership. I LOVE it! It's perfect because it's so convenient. We live just behind Thanksgiving Point. Aidan and Ethan love going to the dinosaur museum, and the farm country and the children's garden! They have activities all the time for the kids. So on Saturday they had a Pig 'n Pork Day at the farm country. They had a scavenger hunt, pig cookie decorating, and pig crafts and games. They gave out free popsicles and had pulled pork sandwiches that were AMAZING! The boys had a lot of fun!

Our trip to Reno
Ben had the first week in August off so we decided to go to Reno for the week. It worked out too because I just stayed for the next two weeks as he flew out Sunday, the eighth to Orlando for work and the third week he was in New Mexico. I was able to be there in Reno during my mom's 50th bday and my sister Samantha's 15th bday. We had a blast while Ben was in town with us. We tried to get everything accomplished that week he was there. We went to Beto's, one of our staple places for some of the most authentic Mexican food. By the way, this is not the chain of Beto's, this is a hole in the wall in downtown Reno. We also went to Siamese Hut which is a family favorite for the BEST Thai food around! Ben took the boys floating down the Truckee River with my dad and my brother Hunter, we went to Tahoe and had awesome weather, and they even went downtown to look at the old cars during Hot August Nights, and we went to a Reno Ace's baseball game. We truly enjoy the time we have with Ben because we don't get to see him very often!

Potty Training

Potty training has got to be one of the hardest, patience trying things I have had to do as a mother. Aidan was potty trained at 2 1/2 after two weeks of training. Ethan is only 25 months old but I feel like its that time. He is much different than Aidan was. Aidan was waking up dry every morning and from nap times and he would hide when he had to go poop. He didn't want anything to do with the toilet for the longest time. So we made a chart with stickers for every time he made it to the toilet. Ethan wakes up pretty wet in the mornings but he would start hiding as well when he had to go poop. He loves sitting on the potty and has been doing it since he was about 20 months. With the baby coming in a couple of months I really want Ethan out of diapers by then. Today is kind of our real first attempt though with really trying to teach him. He has no problem going poop in the toilet. We have had NO poop accidents but he can't quite make it to the toilet when he needs to pee. I am crossing my fingers this won't take too long! How cute is he in his little boxer briefs though?!

2nd Busy Week and our trip to Vegas

On the 4th of July we went to Orem and spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa Baugh's house so that Ben could get up and go fishing with his dad the next morning and so we could go to the Provo City Parade. Ben got done fishing around 8am and we had breakfast and headed for Center St. We had the best seats thanks to some of his family that lives on Center St! The boys loved looking at all the floats.
After the parade we headed home to pack up to go camping. Ben and I have tried to go camping at least once a year during the summer. So far I think we have gone almost every year. We go up to the Uintas and camp out near Strawberry. We got the best camping spot this time because we went when everyone else was headed home. We camped that night until Wednesday morning. Ben did all the work. He packed up the car, set up camp and made every meal we ate. Then he cleaned up camp and packed the car back up! He is such a hard worker and I am so grateful for him. We had some nice walks around Willow Creek, Ben caught some small fish and even got a snake for Aidan and Ethan to play with! it was the perfect weather. It didn't get above 75 which was just great! Thanks honey for the great memories you help make with our family!

On Thursday I finally cleaned my house and then on Friday I took the kids to the Dinosaur Museum…their favorite. I think we spent like 3 hours there that day! Saturday Ben and I did absolutely nothing! It was really nice!
My parents gave us a bunk bed set that I had when I was little. It was pretty banged up but it's all wood, so Ben has taken it and sanded almost all the pieces. It looks brand new! I can't wait to stain it and it will look soooo nice. Our place is only 3 bedrooms so when the baby comes the boys will have to share a bedroom and bunk beds are the best way to save space. Ben has worked so hard on them and I just LOVE him for it! I will have to post some pictures of them later.
Sunday we left for Las Vegas because Ben had work to do down there for the week. I had a lot of fun. Kathy totally spoiled me and the boys while we were there. We went to Panera Bread twice for lunch. I don't think I could ever get sick of that place! We went shopping to TJ Max. We went to see Despicable Me which was such a cute movie. She watched the boys for Ben and I so that we could go on a date to see Knight and Day! She took Ben and the boys to see Karate Kid while I was shopping with my sister-n-law Jill and her mother-n-law Melinda to Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale. I think we spent about 5 hours shopping. I was wiped out when I got home! Saturday Kathy got in the pool and went swimming with us which has never happended in the five years that I have been married to Ben! It was so nice to have her out there with us. The boys absolutely loved having her swim with them!

Busy Busy
That next day I went to the doctors for a check up. Everything is going really well. It was a pretty chill day which was a nice break. But then on Wednesday we were off again and this time to Lagoon. We spent the whole day at Lagoon mostly at Lagoon-A-Beach. Ben was able to meet up with us in the afternoon which was really nice. We had a blast with everyone!
On Thursday Ben and I took the boys and my two little sisters up Sundance to hike Stuart Falls. It was super HOT but a lot of fun! We had to hurry back down so that we could make it to our movie Eclipse. Which was just okay for me. I liked it alright but I think I had higher expectations for it. They are getting better and better though.

On Friday Ben got up to go fishing with his dad on the Provo River and then I went down to Orem later to drop the boys off so they could float down the Provo River with their dad. I took that opportunity to go to Nordstroms and look around. I was successful in finding something I needed for when the baby comes! HAHA! I found a really cute Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag. I had to get it because it was on sale because of their Anniversary sale. They totally sold me. They allowed me to purchase it earlier than the Anniversary sale and sent it to me for free. I am totally excited! I LOVE IT!!!! I guess it's my treat to myself for having a third boy! Friday night our little nephew Austin got baptized. We were so happy for him and the example he is setting for all his younger cousins! Afterwards we went to Grandpa Anderson's house and had a early 4th of July celbration in his front yard. Saturday was crazy busy but filled with fun. We got up that morning and had breakfast together and headed to Orem for the Annual Baugh 4th of July picnic. We spent all afternoon there in Scera Park. We went swimming at their pool which was a lot of fun for the boys. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Baugh's to clean up and lay the boys down for a nap before the Stadium of Fire. We left kind of late and ended up walking a mile to the stadium. Don't worry I am about seven months pregnant and walked a mile with Aidan on my shoulders. He kept telling me, "You are holding me because you love me!" You're right Aidan, I sure do love you! We had a blast at the Stadium of Fire. The boys absolutely LOVE the fireworks and Ethan was dancing like crazy when Carrie Underwood was singing! Thank you Belmont and Kathy for this great tradition in the family and for taking us every year!

Ethan Preston turns 2!
Our little Ethan turned two on June 11th. I can not believe it has been two years already! He has grown up so fast. He is the funniest little boy who loves life. He loves to dance which I have already posted about! He loves his big brother Aidan. He is always the first to wake up and Aidan likes to sleep in. Everytime Ethan wakes up he asks for Aidan and I always tell him Aidan is sleeping. So when Aidan wakes up it's huge for Ethan. He runs over to Aidan while yelling AIDAN AIDAN AIDAN! He loves Aidan. This little boy is such a ham. He also is very sensitive to people and the way they are feeling. His great grandpa Anderson was coughing and Ethan went up to him and put his hand on his knee as if to say are you okay? As soon as Grandpa finished coughing he was off to something else. He is a little busy body. Always on the move. Aidan loves to watch movies and cartoons and Ethan acts like he does because it's what Aidan is doing but he sits for maybe two minutes and he is off! I love this little boy so much and am always grateful for his sweet smiles and BIG bear hugs! Happy Birthday E-hee!
