So today was a really crappy day. I woke up early this morning to get my sister to the airport. It was raining pretty bad outside and on the way to the airport I could feel myself kind of hydroplaning, so I slowed down. Thankful to say that my sister made it to the airport safely and on time. However on my way home Aidan and I had an accident. Luckily no one else was involved. I started to spin out of control on the I-215 and I couldn't gain control of the car before it did a 360 degree turn while slamming us into the median. I was quite hysterical. Aidan was crying really hard in the back of the car. Again thankful to say we walked away without any injuries. It was really bad but I know the Lord was watching over us today! Thank you to my husband who left work to come and rescue us. And thanks to the good Samaritan who sat in his van across from us on the freeway as soon as we had the accident and waited until a highway patrolman showed up before he pulled away.

Jaclyn that is crazy! I am so glad that you guys didn't get hurt, I can't even imagine something like that happening.
Oh my gosh, Jaclyn! I hope it's okay I made the rounds and called a few in the ward to let them know...Donna said she talked to you on the phone last night and you didn't even say anything!! I am so glad that you and Aiden are alright....and by the way, IF you DO go into labor while Ben is away, call us and we'll be there!..we're just a half a second away!
I am sorry about the car accident! I can still remember when my brother and I did a few spins of the freeway with wet roads too. Scary! So glad everyone is ok.
OH that is so scary. I am so glad you are all okay. You are getting so close for your baby to come too, are you excited? I am watching closely for you to post the pictures and tell about your experience. Let us know if you need ANYTHING!!!!!
OH no! I'm so sorry. How scary - it's bad enough to have to worry about yourself, and the car - but also 1 (kind of 2) babies! I'm so sorry!
Glad to hear that you and our little Aidan are okay. I just found out that Nate has a deer hunt in Colorado the middle of September. He may just miss the birth of his first daughter. We will see what he chooses. :) So I hope you don't go early while Ben is gone, take it easy. Don't do too much to put yourself in labor. Be careful and I will be up there next week to see you.

Sorry to hear about your scary accident!! But am glad to hear that you are all okay! That must have been so awful! Driving in the rain can be more dangerous than you think! Hope you are doing well and the rest of your pregnancy goes well!

Oh my gosh Jaclyn, I didn't even know and now look at you...you went into labor! CRAzy! I hope you are okay and congrats on your new baby Ethan, we can't wait to meet him!
Hooray, Ben and Jaclyn! We are so happy for you! What a crazy day for you two! Aiden had a fun time at your shower yesterday! We missed you, but will shower you with fun things when you get home! Can't wait to meet baby Ethan!
